I had a wonderful Easter Saturday. We had a birthday party at a friend's house, a very relaxing saturday indeed. I know this first part of my post has absolutely nothing to do with fashion. However, you
know my love for food, and pretty things. This sushi cake is one of
the most amazing thing I have ever seen. My friend Angie
is the mastermind behind it. She used cake, covered with fondant
(nori, sea creatures, wasabi & ginger), and used 10 boxes of
minty tic-tacs all over it for rice. Such genius and well... just plain
dress: daydream nation s/s '09 - "love is in the air" dress
jeans: J-brand dark denim
shoes: franco sarto bow peep-toes

My friend Dree from Urban Collection also wrote a post on me and my blog, I was so honoured!
My Good Friday outfit was also what i wore to my Valentine's day date with my husband. Unfortunately, we were absent-minded and did not take our camera with us on our date, hence no photos... I didn't go with something spring and cutesy as I brainstormed, but I picked my Urban Collection vintage black copper dress.
so Good Friday rolled around, and i wanted something dark and pretty for service, so I chose the same dress. I dressed it down with a cardigan. With traveling to Canada and back, i was in no mood to wear heels. My original desire to wear my vintage Lanvin oxford heels was quickly replaced with my Zara flats.
belt: forever21 (i'm going to hunt down a better belt for it, something taupe/copperish)
cardigan: joie long cashmere buttoned-down cardi
flats: zara black ruched-strapped flats
Hope everyone had an enjoyable Good Friday.
